CALL FOR PAPERS
The Bank Guarantee Fund invites all interested experts, especially academic society, to submit papers for the scientific conference: Crisis management in the financial system – stairway to heaven or highway to hell?
The topics of the submitted papers should concern the following areas:
- deposit guarantees, insurance guarantee systems or investor compensation systems,
- crisis management in the banking, insurance and capital market (mainly CCP),
- financial stability and financial crises,
- financial safety,
- early warning of crisis events in the financial system,
- role of the financial safety net in crisis management.
The organizers invite to submit articles of both theoretical and empirical nature. We invite authors of texts covering various streams of science to submit applications, e.g., social sciences, financial sciences or legal sciences. The status of a university employee is not a necessary condition for submitting a paper proposal. We also invite professionals to submit proposals. The articles prepared in English are preferable. Submitting a paper in Polish does not disqualify from participating in the conference. However, it will be required to present the paper in English during the conference.
Both full articles and abstracts are accepted as paper submissions. The abstract should be a minimum of 1500 words and contain such elements as: background, research methods, results and conclusion. There are no limits as for the full paper length however it should to be adjusted to the requirements of the journal for the post-conference publication.
The file with the paper should not contain the author’s name and surname. Acceptable paper formats are: .doc, .docx, .rtf, .pdf.
The deadline for submissions: 30th June 2024
Submissions must be sent to: paper.conference2024@bfg.pl.
Applicants will be informed about the acceptance of the article by email not earlier then in July 2024. The selection of articles is based on the reviews of Scientific Committee. We kindly request people submitting the article to register for the conference using the registration form available on this website after receiving the information about the acceptance of the article. People whose articles are accepted are asked to register as “Presenter of the paper”.
Those experts whose articles are not accepted may participate in the conference as listener. Please register by selecting the “Listener” option in the “Register as” field in the registration form.
Authors whose articles are accepted for presentation during the conference will have the opportunity to submit the article to the post-conference monograph (in the form of a book) or submit the article to one of the journals. The list of recommended journals includes:

The deadline for preparing the final text for post-conference publication will be announced later.
Registration and paper submission are free of charge. The organizer does not cover the costs of submitting and publication of papers in journals, which charge a fee.
