OPTIONAL EXCURSION

Explore Warsaw with Us!

As part of our conference program, we warmly invite all international guests to join us for a guided sightseeing tour of Warsaw – a city where history meets modernity.

Royal Łazienki Park

Our first stop will be the stunning Royal Łazienki Park, one of Warsaw’s most beautiful and serene landmarks. This 18th-century park and palace complex was commissioned by King Stanisław August and remains a masterpiece of classical architecture and landscape design.
Highlights include:

  • The Palace on the Isle, elegantly set on the water
  • Monument to Frédéric Chopin, surrounded by lush gardens
  • Picturesque walking paths, peacocks, and charming neoclassical pavilions

This tranquil green space is the perfect introduction to Warsaw’s regal past.

Warsaw Old Town (Stare Miasto)

Next, we’ll visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Warsaw Old Town – a place rebuilt from ruins after World War II with remarkable precision and passion.
Stroll through cobbled streets lined with colorful townhouses, visit the Royal Castle, and soak in the lively atmosphere of Castle Square (Plac Zamkowy).
Other highlights include:

  • The Barbican and medieval city walls
  • Old Town Market Square with its iconic Mermaid statue
  • Local cafes and souvenir shops in charming alleyways

This part of the tour offers a glimpse into the soul of the city and its resilience.

The tour will be guided in English and is free for all conference participants.
